How to read these rankings
Elementary schools show a score out of 10. Several secondary schools are listed as "Top Academic" without a single score. Rankings measure test results and a few other measures, not a school's culture, teachers or programs.
Catchments matter. Public school places depend on the school district's catchment map, which can change. Confirm with the district before you buy.
Independent schools do not use catchments, but have their own admission rules and tuition.
Look beyond the score: visit the school, ask about programs such as French immersion, and check class sizes.
Homes in popular catchments often cost more, so compare prices with nearby areas.
